Oct 26, 2026
Mediacom Park, NY – Mediacom Communications today announced the appointment of Glenn Goldsmith as Senior Vice President of Procurement and Supply Chain.
In this newly created role, Goldsmith will report directly to Chairman and CEO Giuseppe B. Commisso, serve as a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team, and lead an enterprise-wide approach to procurement, supplier relationships and supply chain optimization that supports Mediacom’s long-term growth and operational priorities.
As Mediacom’s chief procurement strategist and lead commercial negotiator, Goldsmith will oversee major areas of company spending, including programming and content, customer equipment, network materials and infrastructure, construction services, fleet, technology and software, cloud and outsourced services, facilities, logistics and professional services. He will continue to lead the company’s programming and content negotiations while bringing greater coordination and commercial discipline to procurement across the organization.
Working closely with Mediacom’s Finance, Legal, and Operating Teams, Goldsmith will focus on strengthening sourcing and contract negotiations to deliver measurable savings and long-term value, improving supplier performance, accountability and continuity of supply, supporting the operations team on inventory, logistics and materials planning to meet network construction, maintenance and customer installation needs, and improving visibility into spending and contractual commitments and renewal opportunities through better analytics, systems and processes.
“Glenn’s career is a great example of the opportunities that dedication, continued learning and strong performance can create at Mediacom,” said Commisso. “For years, he has led some of our most complex and important negotiations with skill and sound commercial judgment. Bringing that same discipline to procurement across the company will help us create lasting value, strengthen our supplier relationships and continue investing in the network reliability and service quality our customers expect.”
Goldsmith joined Mediacom in 1998 as an intern in the Accounting Department and has advanced through positions of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Programming. In that role, he led the company’s cable and broadcast network acquisition efforts, including negotiations for programming and retransmission consent agreements, new and traditional media rights, and strategic multiplatform initiatives.
Goldsmith holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Marist University, an MBA from State University of New York, and an MSJ from Seton Hall University School of Law. He has also completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Columbia Business School.
