If you're a current customer moving to another Mediacom service area, here are a few important things to know to help ensure a smooth transition.
Give Us a Call
At least 7 days prior to your move, call us at:
800-479-2082 to share your moving details (account number, dates, new address) and to set up an installation appointment.
There's a good chance many of your channels will be exactly the same at your new address. Once you're settled in, peruse the channel guide to familiarize yourself with the lineup.
You may be able to take your current equipment with you to your new address. If not, check out our easy drop off resources and you'll receive new equipment at your new location
Email & Other Accounts
There will be no interruption in your email service during your move. Your Mediacom account usernames and passwords will also stay the same, or you may choose to change them.
Keep Your Home Phone Number
Depending on your new address and area code, you may be able to keep your current home phone number. You can also set up call forwarding to have home calls directed to your cell.

Important Installation Reminders
You're all set for internet, phone and cable to be installed. Or are you?
Please remember the following five things.
Make sure your electricity is turned on. We can't hook you up without power.
When placing your order, let us know exactly what you need. We cannot add cable boxes, etc. on day of installation.
Your cell phone is the best way for us to contact you and for you to contact us.
Our technicians can only install your services when an adult, 18+ years old, is present.
Prior to our tech leaving, make sure you understand how to operate all your devices, as well as enter user names and passwords.
