| Mediacom Cable in the Classroom is a major system-wide educational program that provides students and teachers in hundreds of schools served by our local systems with free cable TV and high-speed Internet access, along with teacher and student study materials.
Cable In The Classroom is dedicated to promoting positive change in education locally and nationally using cable content and new technologies to improve teaching and learning for children in schools, at home, and in their communities.
Mediacom Local System Educational Programs take place in many of our systems throughout the year including the Emma L. Bowen Foundation diversity work / study program providing minority students with invaluable work experience and allows them to earn a salary to help pay for their higher education. Our commitment to education includes the company's annual September 11th Memorial Fund for our employees' children. Every year, Mediacom presents 50 scholarships of $1,000 each honoring the heroes of 9/11. |
